Education Precinct - Monash University
Bendigo Regional Clinical School works closely with Bendigo Health and other regional health care providers to offer students unparalleled clinical training opportunities. Students in Years 3, 4 and 5 enjoy a variety of clinical experiences, close contact with senior clinicians and resident medical staff, access to tutors and timetabled PBL and tutorial sessions. They also mix with medical students from the University of Melbourne, here on placements. And there’s no shortage of social, cultural and sporting activities located close by. This building will be a major feature within the Bendigo hospital health education and research precinct. The precinct is currently strategically placed between the hospital and chronic campuses of Bendigo Health, LaTrobe University clinical school and the Bendigo Primary Health Centre (super clinic) will also be located in the precinct. The Monash Bendigo Regional Clinical School will accommodate in the vicinity of 90 medical students per annum and house around 50 academic and administrative staff.
