Emergency Department Ground Works

With the pending demolition of Ambulance Victoria buildings and destruction of part of the tunnel interconnecting the Bendigo hospital and Anne Caudle Centre campuses, Bendigo Health has undertaken a review of services currently transmitted via the tunnel, which include steam, recycled water, data and telephony. Stage three of the fire service works at Bendigo Health include the re-plumbing of all fire hydrants and hose reels within the Kurmala and Stanistreet buildings and the connection of these buildings into the new dedicated fire ring main. Chiller Infrastructure
The old Stanistreet House chiller has now been disconnected in preparation for its removal. In line with the Buildings and Infrastructure division philosophy of reuse, reduce, recycle, staff will investigate where best it can be re-used in the future.
